Description

Up for your consideration is a very pretty little outfit for Muffie. This is her #601-1 "Margie Adorable" Dress from the Dress-Up Styles of 1953. This outfit is shown on page 32 in the book "The Muffie Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the dress, panties, socks, shoes, flowers and purse. A complete outfit. Please look at all my photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
This
pink cotton percale dress has wide white cotton braid trim with an embroidered floral design on both the bodice and the skirt. It has Muffie's signature half slip sewn on the inside and closes with a small round brass snap. This dress is in very nice condition except for some age discoloration on the right side of the dress. If you look closely in the photos, you can see this. However, I think it will all come out with a gentle socking in oxi-clean. It starts at the top of the shoulder and runs down to the top of the trim but, I do think it will wash right out. No other problems and the snap is secure. It is really a lovely little dress.
The vintage light pink taffeta panties have white lace trim. They are in good condition with no holes, tears or stains. The waist elastic is stretched a bit.
The vintage pink rayon socks are original Muffie socks. This pair is in very nice condition with no holes or snags. They are clean and still shiny.
The pink side-button Mary Jane shoes have little heels. They are in good condition with knobs and straps intact.
I have also included a vintage bouquet of white satin flowers and a little white purse. Just a few nice little accessories to go with the dress.
Shipping is .00 by First Class Mail and includes tracking. I will carefully pack this outfit in a small box so it arrives safe and sound to you.
