There is some deterioration of plastic coating around the base of the cigarette lighter adapter cord (see close-up picture). The slim battery charges and the unit will power on, but no guarantees on how long the charge will last. The high-capacity battery did not appear to retain a charge after 15 minutes on the charger. Unfortunately, the stylus is missing
